Cashify Private Limited (formerly known as Manak Waste Management Private Limited), having its registered office at 55, 2nd Floor, Lane-2, Westend Marg, Saidullajab, Gadaipur, Near Saket Metro Station, New Delhi – 110030 ("Cashify", "we", "us", "our"), operates cashify.in (the "Website") through which Users can rent gaming consoles and accessories ("Consoles") from third-party partners ("Partners"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data of Users ("you") in connection with the Website, in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
By using the Website, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, mobile number, email address, and password/OTP verification details.
- Order information: delivery address, rental dates, Console selected, and any special delivery instructions.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment gateway; we do not store your full card/bank details on our servers.
- Communications: information you provide when contacting customer support, including complaints, feedback, or correspondence.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages visited, and time spent on the Website.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Clause 5 below.
- Location information: approximate location derived from your delivery address or, where permitted by you, device location, used to determine serviceable Partners in your area.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to:
- create and manage your account;
- process and fulfil your Orders, including sharing necessary details with the relevant Partner for delivery/pickup;
- process payments, refunds, and Security Deposit adjustments;
- provide customer support and resolve complaints/grievances;
- send you transactional communications (order confirmations, delivery updates, payment receipts) and, where you have opted in, promotional communications;
- improve and personalise the Website, and to monitor and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- comply with Applicable Law and respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.
3. Sharing of Your Information
3.1 With Partners
When you place an Order, we share the following information with the Partner assigned to fulfil it, strictly for the purpose of coordinating delivery and pickup of the Console: your name, mobile number, delivery address, and Order details (Console selected, rental dates). Partners are contractually bound to use this information solely for order fulfilment, to keep it confidential, and to delete it once the Order (and any associated dispute window) is closed. Partners are not permitted to use your information for independent marketing or to contact you for any purpose unrelated to your Order.
3.2 With service providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment gateways, SMS/email/notification providers, cloud hosting providers, and analytics providers, solely to the extent necessary for them to perform such services, and subject to confidentiality obligations.
3.3 For legal and safety reasons
We may disclose your information where required to comply with Applicable Law, a court order, or a request from a government or regulatory authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cashify, our Users, Partners, or the public.
3.4 Business transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to that entity being bound by privacy commitments no less protective than this Privacy Policy.
3.5 No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
- We retain your account and Order information for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter to resolve disputes, comply with legal/tax obligations (e.g., invoicing and accounting records), and enforce our agreements.
- Information shared with a Partner for order fulfilment is required to be deleted by the Partner once the Order and any associated grievance window are closed, as further detailed in our agreement with Partners.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to Clause 7 (Your Rights) and any retention required under Applicable Law.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, understand how you use the Website, and improve our services.
- You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Website.
6. Data Security
- We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and secure storage practices, to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
- While we strive to protect your personal data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we shall notify you and the Data Protection Board of India (as applicable) in accordance with the DPDP Act and rules made thereunder.
7. Your Rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and applicable rules, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities undertaken;
- request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request erasure of your personal data, unless retention is required for legal, contractual, or legitimate business purposes;
- withdraw consent for processing based on consent (which may affect your ability to use certain features of the Website);
- nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity;
- register a grievance regarding the processing of your personal data with our Grievance Officer, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India, if unresolved.

8. Children's Privacy
The Website is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Your personal data is primarily stored and processed in India. Where any service provider processes data outside India, we shall ensure such transfer is undertaken in accordance with the DPDP Act and any conditions notified by the Central Government from time to time.
10. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including payment gateways. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
